Hello
The date we expected for the premiere of the set is slowly passing
D..179 Belgian F-16 THE X TIGER
We are in a hurry to inform you that we are already on the last straight. The picture above shows the already prepared set, we only have the last fittings for the Kinetic 1/48 (new tool) and Revell 1/72 models and preparing the files for printing, so let's hope that in a few weeks the set will be available for sale
Another announced and almost finished set is:
D..175 Belgian F-16 Squadrons GENERIC SET
Its final appearance is also thanks to you. We would like to thank those few modellers from Belgium who responded to our call for photo material.
After the standard squadron markings, we added a few small flavors ;)
Another set that is about to be completed, although it was not previously announced, is an analogous set to the Dutch
D..164 Dutch F-16 Squadrons - GENERIC SET
At this point, as was the case with the Belgian set, we would like to ask you for help. Although we have material that will allow us to generally complete the set, it will definitely make it easier for us to take some photos, especially of the early nineties. In particular, this applies to squadrons 311, 316 and Test Group and TCA (Transitie en Conversie Afdeling), although any photos are welcome.
For some time, we've been hearing rumors that there was a problem with applying our decals, unfortunately, these were mainly third-hand messages and only recently the topic became concrete because we received two, exactly TWO complaints in this regard. We took care of the subject and we reassure you that the matter is under control and although such cases could have happened in the case of several sets released last year, generally nothing disturbing happens with our decals. Soon we will refer to the matter in detail in a separate newsletter
Since you are pushing us more and more to release the Polish MiG-21s, as promised, after the completion of work on the X-Tiger, we are going to finish them and release them this year.
So much for today
During the weekend we will publish the last part of Paweł's article about the construction of the Tiger Su-22
Best regards
The ModelMaker team
