Welcome
We promised another newsletter only when this day comes :)
Those who follow us on Facebook already know that a test printout of the Tiger Su-22 reached us this week
That is, a set D..119 Su-22UM-3K „707" Tiger 2017
Today we have checked all the elements and, apart from a few minor corrections that we are already making to the project, we can confidently say FINISHED!
Everything is already prepared and after applying the mentioned corrections to the main sheet, after Sunday the files will be sent to print, and we will focus on finishing the instructions, which will be very important in this set.
This is how the control of some elements looks like, of course, you have to take into account that this is only a test print, on a fairly thick base and the decal does not always fit perfectly on curves.
The corrections mainly concern the fuel tanks and some changes in the glazing and are small. The main elements fit almost perfectly, of course on dedicated models, i.e. Kitty Hawk in 1/48 and Modelsvit in 1/72. Probably better or worse these decals can be applied to models of other companies, but to meet your questions and suggestions, we decided to make the set more attractive with an additional sheet with all black and white stripes and masks that allow you to paint the rest of the painting on the hull and tanks.
Such a set allows you to paint on any model, but you can also mix it freely and even in the manual, regardless of the model used, we will recommend painting tanks with masks.
A total of 1/72 is an A4 sheet, and 1/48 is two such sheets. The set is the largest we have produced so far.
Also, the saga of the Tiger Su-22 is coming to an end and we are sending the files for printing in the coming week. Everything now depends on how quickly the printing will be carried out by Cartograf, where everything will be printed, including the exploitation inscriptions :)
Answering the question about the price, the 1/72 scale will certainly cost less than PLN 100, and the 1/48 will certainly cost less than PLN 150, but we don't have the final print calculation yet, so this is purely indicative news.
That's all for today, with good news, we're going on a weekend break
Next week we will try to publish some previews for the coming months :)
Best regards
