Promised and postponed report on the progress of work on Tiger "707"

As I wrote HERE in December, I had to start working on the set from the begining, because the fault of the HOBBY BOSS model completely disqualified it with this painting. By the way, I've figured out where the mistake was made. The entire cabin in this model is simply too long and its end falls too deep on the hull. In the Kitty Hawk model it is similar, but that it is about 2mm, not almost 1cm, and that's the only reason why I develop this set for this model.

Below I present the work currently done. The tanks and a few small elements still need to be developed, as well as some nuances in the main decals and additional stripes for the first painting that have appeared on this plane for years.

I am determined to make the set as expected, i.e. in three options.

- Original painting from 2004

- Condition of this painting just before modernization in 2016

- Tiger after facelift, i.e. painting from 2017

Currently, the whole thing is well over A4 in 1/48 scale, so I am considering dividing it into separate sets. We will see how it will be. Certainly your opinions will be valuable to us.

Of course, the most important question for you is when. Actually, I think there is a good chance that it will be finished by the end of March and will go to print in April.

So much for the subject of the Tiger. Watch us closely today and in the coming days, because the courier has just delivered a package from the Czech Republic, so the new decals are on the doorstep :)
