War in Ukraine, Tiger Su-22, Polish MiG-21, numbers for Polish F-16s All

Date:

Hello

From the end of February, we planned to publish a series of newsletters in which we wanted to address your most frequently asked questions and a few issues that have emerged recently. There are also news and more announcements to be published.

Unfortunately, on February 24, there was a disgusting act of aggression against our neighbor. As a result, we almost abandoned the company for a week because we focused on various attempts to help, mainly privately, but this is not what we are going to write about today. We only urge you to help in any form, even buying a packet of baby wipes or boycotting Russian goods (especially Zvezda in our backyard), because when each of us does something small, the effect will also be huge.

Moving on to current affairs.
Unfortunately, we do make mistakes from time to time. Usually, we pick up such errors ourselves and correct them, or you catch them and pay attention to them, even before printing the decal. Sometimes it also happens that we have to issue an errata to the decal (e.g. sets 141 and 142). In short, we would like them not to happen, but unfortunately it does happen sometimes.
At the end of February, we received information about an error in the D..072 Polish F-16C / D Anniversary markings 2006-2011 set. It concerns the shape of the digits of the Polish F-16 side numbers. It is not visible at first glance, only a careful comparison with the original figures shows the differences. Unfortunately, the worst thing is that this time we did not manage to figure out how it happened, and what's more, this error was later duplicated by us. Therefore, as soon as possible, we designed the correct numbers that are already in print and will be added to the sets in the form of errata, and we will add them to the order for free to anyone who has previously purchased sets, as we have done in the past. In short, we are taking on the chest and this month the problem will be solved.

After this text http://www.modelmaker.com.pl/tygrysiej-telenoweli-ciag-dalszy/5/136/ a year ago, it seemed that we are on the final straight and in a moment it will be possible to go to print. Unfortunately, within literally a week, everything turned upside down, because first Kitty Hawk declared bankruptcy, and then the printing house in which the decal was to be printed. And so, colloquially speaking, the case went away. Since then, the project was hanging on a peg and waiting for the situation to develop. Interestingly, the KH models are still available and we are currently considering several options. 100% printing will be done in Cartografie, like several other sets, one of which is already on sale. As soon as the details emerge, we will write a comprehensive newsletter. When? We are determined to bring this soap opera to an end this year, maybe even this summer.

You are also asking about the Polish MiG-21, about which more here http://www.modelmaker.com.pl/mig-21-in-polish-service-exclusive-edition/5/153/

Our appeal met with a huge response, even more than we expected. There is a lot of material, fixes and new elements in practically every part. We are slowly embracing it and we hope that the whole thing will be published in such a way that the premiere will be in July at the Baltic Modeling Festival in Koszalin, which we are co-organizing. Set D..149 basic numbers and chessboards is ready, printed and in stock.

Today we will publish a list of new products that went on sale in the last two weeks, and we will present further announcements.

Slava Ukrainie!
